| 1 | Ceiling Hung Directional Sign These signs help direct the movement pattern of passenger to facilities, and are suspended from ceiling. Refer design drawing 2.1aS, 2.1aG Providing and fixing illuminated signs including all operations from fabrication to installation all complete as per drawings, technical specifications, signage schedule and to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in- Charge and as per technical specifications. Sign face: Sign face shall be made in 8 mm thick White translucent 040 acrylic having graphics pasted in Plotter cut Blockout vinyl. The Plotter cut blockout vinyl shall match the specified colour (colour Pantone Black 6C) and vinyl for text Pantone yellow C or Cyan 311C as per graphics as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. Sign Frame: Sign frame 50 mm wide aluminium extrusion with inbuilt frame to receive the sign face. The panel should be made easily openable for maintenance and as per technical specifications. Sign internal Structure: Providing and fixing Framework of Aluminium 25mmx 25 mm hollow square sections. Shall be directly fixed to the sign frame. Suspender: Providing and fixing Stainless steel 25 x 25 mm Hollow sections mounted on slabs/ beams/ walls. All hardware used for fixing of sign shall be Stainless steel The actual structural design of the sign for its stability shall be responsibility of the contactor and shall be designed with due consultation and approval from structural designer. Secret fixing methods should be used to fix parts together and as per technical specifications. Lighting: All internal illumination shall be of LED (as per annexure -A) strip edge lights with electronic controllers, having even spread and overlaps to avoid banding and dark spots including all internal connections and wiring, terminating and connecting the incoming electrical supply cable from nearest available point at the site. Accessories: Providing and fixing all accessories such as thimbles, end connectors, nut- inserts, screws, rivets, bolts, washers, nuts, etc. complete in all respect as perdrawing/ specification as required. | ||

All hardware used for fixing of sign shall be Stainless steel. Cover Plate : 5 mm thick SS cover mounted on flooring. The Post shall be always be a single continuous element without any joints. Cost to include all activities and temporary props used for a perfect vertical in plumb installation, etc. required for fixing the sign in an internal location. The actual structural design of the sign for its stability shall be responsibility of the contactor and shall be designed with due consultation and approval from structural designer. Secret fixing methods should be used to fix parts together and as per technical specifications. Information Panel: FIDS panel comprising of 46" LCD screen to be mounted on cross ties with brackets designed for the specific sizes. The FIDS panel shall be compatible for IP communication with the existing communication system at Airport. Lighting: All internal illumination shall be of LED (as per annexure -A) strip edge lights with electronic controllers, having even spread and overlaps to avoid banding and dark spots including all internal connections and wiring, terminating and connecting the incoming electrical supply cable from nearest available point at the site. Foundation: Providing and laying foundation for the sign including its compaction and all activities like Excavation, PCC base layer, providing and fixing in position electrical connection wherever applicable and finished as per drawing. The item cost includes cutting and opening the floor finish at location, and making good the location to the match the original finish after fixing and installation of sign and as per technical specifications. Accessories: Providing and fixing all accessories such as thimbles, end connectors, nut- inserts, screws, rivets, bolts, washers, nuts, etc. complete in all respect as per drawing/ specification as required.
