| 2 | Diesel Engine: Diesel Engine 4 stroke, water cooled, electric start of suitable BHP at 1500 RPM suitable for above output of alternator at 40 Degree C, 50% RH & at 1000 Meter MSL and conforming to CPCB IV + Emission Regulation, ISO 1460, ISO 8528, ISO 3046, ISO 9001 and ISO 13018, capable of taking 10% over loading for one hour after 12 hours of continuous operation. The engine will be fitted complete with all the required accessories. The Engine should be of Greaves / Kirloskar / Cummins / Caterpillar / Volvo Penta / Perkins / Mitsubishi make only.Engine mounted Instrument Panel fitted with and having digital display for following: i) Start-stop switch with key. ii) Water temperature indication. iii) Lubrication oil pressure indication. iv) Lubrication oil temperature indication. v) Battery charging indication. vi) RPM indication. vii) Over speed indication. viii) Low lubricant Oil trip indication. ix) Engine Hours indication. x) Engine Protection Unit and Sensors for winding and bearing temperature monitoring. | ||
| 3 | Alternator:- Synchronous alternator rated at 400KVA or better, 415 volts at 1500 RPM, 3 phase 50Hz, AC supply with 0.8 lagging power factor at 40 degree C, 50% RH & at 1000 Meter MSL. The alternator shall be having SPDP enclosure, brushless, continuous duty, self-excited and self-regulated through AVR conforming to IS/IEC 60034-1 suitable for tropical conditions and with class F/H insulation with extended Cable Termination Box having Aluminium/ copper Bus-bar of suitable cross section shall be able to accommodate 2 Run of 3.5 Core x 400Sq.mm. XLPE Armoured, Aluminium Conductor cable. The alternator should be of Stamford / Kirloskar / Leroysomer / Crompton / Mitsubishi / Caterpillar make only. | ||
| 4 | Governor:- The Governor shall be electronic type confirming to class A1 and shall be self contained unit capable of monitoring speed. It shall be suitable for remote operation. This should confirm to ISO 3046/ BS 5514 with actuator as per standard design of manufacturer. | ||
| 5 | Base Frame & Foundation: Both the Engine and Alternator shall be mounted on suitable base frame made of MS channel with necessary reinforcement which shall be installed on suitable cement concrete foundation and vibration isolation arrangement as per recommendations of manufacturer. The base frame of the diesel generating set shall be sturdy and fabricated/welded construction out of M.S. channel iron base of suitable size for mounting the above engine & alternator. The base frame shall be suitably designed to simplify transportation, handling, slinging, E&C. This base frame shall be painted with anti-corrosive epoxy paint. The noise level shall not exceed 75 dB in accordance with the latest applicable CPCB norms for noise. A set of anti-vibration pads shall be provided between base frame and engine alternator. |
