| 1 | GENERAL NOTE: 1) Debris generated from this work shall be disposed off by the contractor outside departmental premises by mechanical transport etc. without any extra cost to the department and/or as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge. During execution of work Contractor should maintain proper safety measures and provide proper insurance coverage to all work men to be engaged in this work. Contractor should quote rates accordingly. 2) Bidders must visit the site before submission of tender. 3) Above mentioned work will be executed at VECC, 1/AF, Bidhannagar, Kolkata-700 064. Bidders are requested to quote rates accordingly. 4) Rate of each item shall include the cost of manpower, materials, tools & tackles, scaffolding, at all level. 5) Contractor has to be very careful so that no nuisance is created or users are not disturbed during execution of the work. Labours engaged should be well behaved/good mannered. 6) All sand to be used for this job should be coarse sand duly screened unless specifically mentioned. 7) Plaster on repaired surface shall match with existing surface. 8) Security regulation and rules of DAE shall be strictly followed during deployment of materials and work force. The work should be done satisfying all safety aspects and insurance coverage for all workers to be involved in this job is a mandatory requirement and contractor should quote rates accordingly. PPE S such as safety shoe, helmet with chin strap, safety belts, safety goggles, welding shields, gloves, vici wear etc. are compulsory for all workers. Safety nets are to be provided as directed. 9) Copies of challan for the materials brought inside VECC, Bidhannagar Campus shall be submitted for reference & record of the department. 10) Test certificate of materials as per requirement to be submitted to Department before executing the work. Contractor shall include cost towards testing in their rate. Hence all testing charges are to be borne by the contractor. 11) Time schedule as mentioned in NIT shall be strictly adhere to. The work should be carried out even on extended time period if required and for that special permission has to be obtained from competent authority. 12) Contractor shall stack dismantled materials up to a lead of 250M or designated places duly barricaded and rate shall include cost of shifting debris/rubbish/unserviceable materials outside VECC office campus by mechanical transport for all items involving disposal. | ||
