All works road rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precutions against soil erosion damage to his side water pollution etc, and to protect stability of hill side.Rock shall be excavated with chidseling and wedging out rock( whci blasting is prohibited).All earth work cutting/excavation,including road excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades sides slopes,width, camber,super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge in confirmity with the requirement of technical specification of Rural road August 2004 and clause 16.2 of general conditions for contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsitable cut material and specificed manner,trimming,filling of unvenness blindage and finishing of the road to specified diamensions including disposal of surplus materials with all leads, and lifts at the location specified in the tender document or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for smooth riding.All Useful materials such as stones, shingles, staltes shall be sorted out and stacked along road side which shall be not less than 93.82 ( Ninety three point eighty twoCubic metre) in any case failing which recovery @ Rs. 300/- per cubic metre shall be made from bill of the contractor .Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor,which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respect. | 1876.44 | Per cubic metre |
