The AKH5 Ceramic Lined Valve achieves an unequalled performance that offers the ideal solution for many difficult applications in which erosion, wear, abrasion, impact, corrosion and high-temperature fluctuations cause conventional materials to fail. The AKH5 Ceramic Lined Valve is recommended when nothing else will work in abrasive slurries, high-temperature corrosives and services with large temperature fluctuations. Available in 25 mm (1 in), 40 mm (11⁄2 in), 50 mm (2 in), 80 mm (3 in) and 100 mm (4 in) sizes. All interior body surfaces and the ball are made of solid Mg-PSZ for superior erosion/corrosion resistance. Excellent strength and thermal shock resistance. A wide selection of stem material options available 316 stainless steel, Hastelloy C-276 or Mg-PSZ (Partially Stabilized Zirconia) ceramic. Full port minimizes pressure loss and increases flow capacity to reduce energy and pumping costs.
